Below is a listing of some of the wonderful dogs and puppies available for adoption through ARFP. They are all healthy, current on shots, and eagerly awaiting a family to love. If not already neutered, this will also be done before they are delivered to their new home, regardless of age or sex.
If you would like more information on a dog or puppy that you are interested in adopting, or on others in the program but not listed here, please:
- Fill out a Dog Info Request Form
- Come to one of our adoption fairs
- Visit the Next Step Adoption Center
Or you can leave a message on our adoption line at 574-9600, ext. 2.
Some of our adoption requirements include:
- A fenced yard (yes, even the small dogs require fences)
Note: Invisible fencing and dog lots are not acceptable as forms of fencing. Click to read why
- A formal adoption application
Note: This is in addition to the online Dog Info Request Form, which lets us know that you're interested in a specific dog so we can arrange for you to meet him.
- A minimum 48-hour waiting period
- Home delivery of the pet
Please note that all dogs must be delivered by an ARFP volunteer to their new home. Since we are an all volunteer organization, we are only able to adopt dogs to locations within a 300-mile round trip of Greensboro, NC.
